Keep Iowa Beautiful’s Hometown Pride program was developed in 2012 as a way to support and encourage local communities to improve the appearance of and pride in their hometowns and counties. The program offers leadership training, skill development, youth service learning and a variety of educational components, tools, and solutions for community development and sustainability. This assistance helps local residents to enhance the cultural and economic vitality of their hometowns, paving the way for improvements to facilities and landscapes, as well as projects and events to promote a sense of community pride.
