The Accent Opaque 70 lb. Vellum paper in this book is acid-free and has a blue-white shade for premium contrast. The acid-free paper is ideal for the preservation of artwork and handwriting. This paper has an excellent semi-smooth finish for dry media drawing tools such as graphite pencils, colored pencils, and crayons. The semi-smooth vellum surface of peaks and valleys also allows for better shading results with graphite pencils.
