We also find that with most new homes built within the last several years. Contractors usually master keyed several if not all homes in an entire neighborhood. They do this so that different contractors can enter several homes as needed with master keys. Most people are not aware that these master keys are still out there. When we rekey your home, we remove all master key pins and put in new pins that correspond to your new key ONLY.
