Depending on the urgency of the need, CJC provides short term crisis intervention therapy sessions to child victims and non-offending family members. Therapy providers are master's level therapists and interns, who are specially trained in the treatment of trauma.
- Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
- 8 - 25 sessions
- All age groups
- Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI)
- Brief: 5-8 sessions
- Age: 7 - 18
The CJC also offers referrals to community providers who are trained in trauma-focused therapy modalities, including TF-CBT and EMDR. In special cases, funding is available for the treatment of victims and non-offending family members who are without other resources.
