Healing from loss.

When a loved one dies, we are swept away by loss. We feel engulfed by sadness—too broken to endure the pain and loneliness ahead. Our lives are forever changed and we can’t imagine how to go on.

Grief can be especially challenging for young people who are still maturing emotionally. We understand how much it can hurt when someone you love dies. It's normal to feel anger, sadness, withdrawal, guilt, and anxiety.

You don’t need to face this transition alone. We always offer 13 months of bereavement counseling and support to spouses/partners, family members, and close friends of a loved one served by Hospice of the Valley. Helping you heal afterward is part of our hospice care. We can be reached at (602) 530-6970

Hospice of the Valley also provides grief support programs at no cost to anyone in our community. We can help you cope with the overwhelming sorrow you are feeling.
