Our District Nurse at Du Quoin School District #300 is dedicated to promoting the health and safety of every student. With a focus on comprehensive care, our nurse oversees various health-related initiatives and ensures that students have access to essential medical support.

Services provided by our District Nurse include the implementation of health action plans, such as the 2020 Asthma Action Plan, Food Allergy Action Plan, and Seizure Action Plan. We also facilitate necessary documentation through forms like the Food Allergy SubForm, Health Concerns Form, and Med Form 2020.

In collaboration with Dental Safari, a mobile dental office, we offer convenient access to dental services, ensuring that our students receive the same professional care as in a traditional setting.

Additionally, we adhere to the Illinois School Code, annually making available immunization data as mandated. Parents and guardians can request this information directly from the Illinois State Board of Education.
