Garden of Hope

The Garden of Hope at St. Edward Parish is a key initiative aligning with their mission of social outreach through works of mercy. Despite challenging conditions with a very wet spring in 2022, volunteers Bob Vanderzanden and Bob Gutmann successfully started growing vegetables in a greenhouse with help from Scott Latham on seed selection. The weather improved later in the year, providing ideal conditions for a fruitful harvest that supported the local North Plains community.
