The Continental School District Educational Foundation is a private, not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to educational excellence in the District. The Foundation is its own investment fund. All donations to this endowment will be held in perpetuity, the earnings from which will be used to accomplish our mission. The Continental Elementary School District is a small, rural school district of 40 square miles, encompassing the community of Green Valley and surrounding areas in southern Pima County, Arizona. Its one school site houses over 575 students in grades Preschool through 8. The District is known for educational excellence. The Continental School District is guided by its motto: Building for the Future: Learning, Cooperating, and Caring Each year, the Foundation will distribute funds from the endowment earnings. School requests for funds will be reviewed by the Foundation Board, and grants will then be awarded for school programs. Grants have been given for books and supplies for the library, classroom art projects and supplies, band equipment, field trips, various enrichment assemblies, STEM grants and math supplies for the middle school, and Artist in Residence. Just to name a few. There are many more items that are needed each year and the Foundation Board will review all inputs from the Continental School teachers and staff and help out as funding is available.

At Continental Elementary School District #39, our mission is to provide a community environment in which all individuals are challenged to achieve excellence in academics, character, and life skills.
