Silver Rider/Southern Nevada Transit Coalition
The mission of the Southern Nevada Transit Coalition is to serve and lead its diverse membership through advocacy, innovation and information sharing to strengthen and expand public transportation in Southern Nevada.
The Southern Nevada Transit Coalition was incorporated in June of 2002 as part of the Nevada Department of Transportations Public Rural Ride (Pride) program. Silver Rider Transit is the organizational branding of the Southern Nevada Transit Coalition. The Southern Nevada Transit Coalition is a private, non-profit, 501(c) 3 organization. It is one of two regional transit coalitions in Nevada and founded on the belief that public transportation can be improved by encouraging cooperation and cost sharing among organizations with interests in transit.

Lend A Hand of Boulder City
Founded by caring local residents and organizations in 1989, Lend A Hand has continuously helped Boulder City senior and disabled residents remain independent in their homes with dignity and basic services.Each year our volunteers serve over 400 clients, most of whom are low income. We are donation based; clients may donate if they choose. In addition, the community generously supports Lend A Hand financially and through volunteer hours.

Senior Center of Boulder City
The Senior Center of Boulder City exists to enrich the lives of adults 50 years of age and older in Boulder City by providing Recreation, Nutrition/Food Service, Health Maintenance, Entertainment, and other services. We believe that being active and involved is key to aging well. To this end the Senior Center of Boulder City has many activities for the mature adult. We would like to invite you to come and try out the center and its many activities. You can become involved either as a participant and/or volunteer. Membership is $12 per year. Although you do not have to be a member to come to the center, there are certain activities and discounts available only to members.

Southern Nevada State Veterans Home
For over 75 years we have been dedicated to helping an estimated 250,000 Nevada veterans get the services, benefits, and quality of life they deserve. The men and women of the Nevada Department of Veterans Services are honored to address any issue, problem, or concern of Nevadas veterans and serving military and their families.
In addition to offering benefits counseling and assistant to include filing VA claims at no cost, we also operate a nationally recognized Southern Nevada State Veterans Home, in Boulder City, and our Northern Nevada State Veterans Home in Sparks. We also offer burial services and support obtaining military honors at our memorial cemeteries located in both Northern and Southern Nevada.
Remember, however, that the State is only one of the hundreds of organizations that help our Nevada Veterans.
