About Macey'sAt Macey's, Happy Shopping isn't just something we say, it is something we live by. We want your grocery shopping experience to be fun, which is why we've created a unique environment with bright colors, great signature products, a fun mascot, and low prices. Bring the kids in for a Kong Kone and a ride in our kid carts. Browse through our delectable scratch-made bakery and sample one of our famous doughnuts. Macey's is locally owned and operated and fully supports the community we live in. See you at Macey's!The Macey's StoryIn 1947, Walt Macey and Dale A. Jones started the "Save-A-Nickel-Market" in Rose Park, Utah. From these humble beginnings, Macey's grew from a small store into a multi-store chain by providing personalized service and genuine old-fashioned friendliness. After being purchased by Associated Food Stores in 1999, Macey's continued to be a destination for thousands of Utah families looking for a great deal on groceries along with a delicious soft serve ice cream cone. And for those brave enough to try it, the now famous Kong Kone, a soft serve ice cream that reaches nearly one foot tall, is one of the most talked about treats for ice cream lovers everywhere. Macey's now serves the communities of Providence, Ogden, West Jordan, Sandy, Murray, Holladay, Orem, Provo, Spanish Fork, Lehi, Pleasant Grove, Highland, Tooele, Olympus Hills, Santaquin, and Taylorsville!

Stokes

We are not your ordinary grocery storeStokes was created and existed as a dream for Harold Stokes 4 generations ago. His son Eldon furthered his dream in the 1960's when he bought a small store in Burley Idaho and the first Stokes Market was born. Eldon's son John joined his father in 1973 when he moved to Burley to extend the family dream. Together John and Eldon opened new locations including Preston Idaho. Today that dream is still being realized by John and Steve Stokes. They own the Burley store and have opened the store in Aberdeen and Salem Utah. They still maintain the generational goals to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our guests. In a world where our competitors are the largest corporations on earth. Stokes remains a small company that is locally owned and operated. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you!We offer a clean, bright, modern store, with the freshest meats, produce, and bakery. In many ways we are very old fashioned. We still scratch bake and our bakery items are made in store. We still cut all of our meat in store. Our meats are all natural and you will never see meat with an ingredients list. Over the years Stokes Market has enjoyed being a participant in our communities. We have made significant contributions to our area schools and local charities. We will continue to strive to support our youth. We also provide Scholarships to local schools and to our graduating seniors who have worked at our store. We also acknowledge and appreciate our employees who serve in service organizations and churches throughout our communities. Many of our employees have become partners in our employee ownership program. If it seems like our employees act like owners and provide the best service in the business.
