As a non-profit organization, we strive to support local organizations and individuals by offering grants that enable them to realize their aspirations. Our Mission "is to preserve and enhance the Athens Area for current and future generations." We believe in fostering a thriving and sustainable community that provides opportunities for growth and prosperity. Through our grant programs, we aim to address various needs within the community, including but not limited to education, healthcare, environmental conservation, arts and culture, and social services. By providing financial assistance to deserving recipients, we hope to contribute towards building a stronger and more resilient community. At Progress Athens Foundation Inc., we are dedicated to promoting collaboration among different stakeholders within the community. We believe that by working together with local organizations, businesses, government entities, and residents, we can create positive change that benefits everyone. Athens Advancement & Agriculture Association aka Athens Fair

Best known for organizing the Athens Fair, the association attracts large crowds and hosts approximately 300 exhibitors each year.
