As individuals from the event industry, they were deeply affected by the global pandemic that forced the shutdown of their profession. However, amidst the hardships, they discovered the opportunity to pursue something new, a chance to turn their dreams into reality.
The foundation of Cafe Biaani' was built upon the realization that life is too precious to not follow your passions and embrace your true calling. Tania, with her roots tied to Oaxaca, Mexico, drew inspiration from her grandfather's love for his homeland. After visiting Oaxaca and experiencing its welcoming culture, rich heritage, and remarkable resourcefulness, she couldn't help but be captivated by this extraordinary place. It became her second home, and she longed to share its wonders with the world.
Saul, born and raised in Mexico, had always cherished his cultural heritage. Having traveled to 45 different countries, he was astounded by the warmth and authenticity he found in Oaxaca. From its stunning art and breathtaking landscapes to its delectable cuisine and remarkable people, Oaxaca held a special place in his heart. Saul's personal fulfillment came from event planning and helping others, and it was this dream that led him to Cafe Biaani'.
Dominic, hailing from an artistic background, played an instrumental role in bringing Cafe Biaani' to life. His creative vision permeates every corner of our space, from the intricately designed textures on the walls to the overall aesthetic inspired by Oaxacan artwork and architecture. Drawing upon his experience as a caricature artist and event enthusiast, Dominic crafted an atmosphere that immerses our guests in unforgettable experiences.
The combined expertise of Tania, Saul, and Dominic, gained through owning their own event staffing company and years of artistic endeavors, laid the solid foundation upon which Cafe Biaani' thrives.
