Turner Excavating, Inc. is a locally owned and operated company out of the Hamilton Branch area of Lake Almanor, CA.
Brian Turner has lived in this area since 1978 and is a graduate of Chester High School. He started his business, Turner Excavating, in 1992.�
Turner Excavating, Inc. is also in the aggregate business as the operator of Round Mountain Rock in Westwood, CA, and Indian Valley Rock in Greenville, CA.
Our new Landscape Material Yard is now open in the Hamilton Branch!� The yard is located on A-13, next to the Hamilton Branch Fire Dept.� In addition to our decorative products, we sell topsoil, organic compost, decomposed granite, and sand.� More products will be coming soon.�

The aggregate products supplied by Round Mountain Rock are unique in color. Some customers refer to the product as "Sierra Red" because the products are reddish pink. This is a desirable product for landscaping, as well as a solid reliable product for road base. This rock product is used in many local road construction projects, both private and public highways. Round Mountain Rock also produces drain rock, water crossing rock, and rip rap.
The aggregate products produced at Indian Valley Rock are quartz-derived base rock, drain rock, water crossing rock, and rip rap.
