Welcome To

Iron County Care and Share

Iron County Care and Share was founded in 1984 by a group of local churches of different denominations to address the issue of hunger in our community. Originally opened as a food bank, the agency soon grew to include an emergency shelter program.

Provides hunger relief, emergency shelter, housing assistance and access to supportive services for homeless and low-income individuals and families.

Iron County Care and Share is a non-profit organization dedicated providing compassionate assistance and resources to individuals and families in need, creating opportunities for increased stability and self-sufficiency.

Our target populations are homeless men, women and children; residents of Iron county; and the chronically homeless in Beaver, Garfield, and Kane counties. This population includes the elderly, minorities, the disabled, veterans, developmentally disabled, physically and mentally ill, those with dual diagnoses, and homeless people living in places unfit for human habitation. Iron County Care and Share provides a pathway to stability for individuals in crisis who have few affordable and supportive options available.

Iron County Care and Share respects individuals values and dignity through a unified organization that accepts diversity and encourages a community of trust.
