About South Bay Cities Council of Governments
We work on issues of mutual interest to our constituents such as water/energy efficiency via our Environmental Services Center; transit services, transportation issues, and specifically our South Bay Measure R Highway Program; Livable Communities including our new initiative on homelessness; Climate Action Planning; our advocacy of fleet conversion to electric vehicles for improved air quality and more.
Provide a leadership forum for South Bay local governments to act collaboratively and advocate for regional issues with a focus on improving transportation and the environment, and strengthening economic development.
The South Bay region is environmentally sustainable and resilient, with improved mobility options and a healthy economy, due to the local government collaborations and advocacy facilitated and supported by SBCCOG.
