About Advanced Geologic
Advanced Geologic Exploration is a full-service geological consulting firm and was incorporated in early 1997 in Nevada, but Charles Watson, President, and Chief Geologist, moved to Chester in 2002 and opened the Chester office shortly after in 2006. Charles has over 45 years of experience in Geology and has become well known in the Northeastern California Region as an earthquake expert. In fact, the Feather River Times used to rely heavily on Charles earthquake reports.
Advanced Geologic Exploration does not just predict earthquakes in our area, they also address the community's needs by offering a wide array of geological services. Additionally, Advanced Geologic Explorations offers their geological expertise in the gold mining and prospecting industry. Plumas Counties rich history in gold mining and prospecting is well known. Lassen National Park and the surrounding area offer a very special geological feeling and provide an amazing learning opportunity for young and old alike.
