On-the-Job Training
Flagler and Volusia County businesses can take advantage of CareerSource Flagler Volusia’s On-The Job-Training Program (OJT.)
A major goal of CareerSource Flagler Volusia is to assist individuals with getting back to work while, at the same time, helping businesses fill vacant positions. We are aware of the costs associated with hiring and training a new employee and our program was designed to help offset some of the costs. If you have been in business for at least one year and you have a vacancy that pays a minimum of $12.00 an hour, contact your Business Service Representative to talk about being reimbursed up to fifty percent of an eligible new employee’s wages.
This program was developed to reduce the cost of training new, full-time employees.
