Our parks and recreation facilities are a place where people gather and participate in wholesome activities. The Parks and Recreation Department is made up of the Harward Recreation Center, two Municipal Golf Courses, many beautiful parks, Kohlerlawn Cemetery, and many recreational activities.
Nampa Parks and Recreation adds value to the community as we promote the conservation of open space, health and wellness in the community, and community recreation and education. We strive to help provide amenities that make our city attractive to new businesses, as well as provide activities that will encourage those from out of town to play in Nampa.
Our park system is made up of open spaces, sports fields, a large recreation center, playgrounds, seasonal swimming pools, beautiful gardens, walking trails, and picnic facilities. We have a professional staff that always strives to improve the recreational opportunities in our city.
