Why Edward Jones
After 27.5 years as an educator, I made the career change to Edward Jones in 2022 as a financial advisor. While I ended up following my passion for teaching for many years, I enjoyed learning about finances and investing. I was able to do this by being a client of Edward Jones for many years. I discovered that my passion for teaching and investing/finances could be blended into the perfect role for me: financial advisor.
I chose Edward Jones for three reasons: 1. We are a privately-owned partnership, which best positions me to put your needs first. 2. We have the support of thousands of team members, along with research, available to make recommendations that put our client’s interests first. 3. My passion is people. While I may deal with numbers, research investments, and develop financial strategies, what I’m really passionate about is people: working with clients to help them achieve their long-term financial goals. We treat clients as we would like to be treated.
About Me
I attended Penn State University earning my bachelor's degree, Nova Southeastern University earning my master's degree, and Stetson University earning my specialist degree in education. I have been a part of the West Volusia community since 1994. I have three children who were all raised in Central Florida. My daughter, Amanda, and her husband, Sal, and three children live in Ohio. My other children, Lucas and Giana, live at home with me. On a weekend, you may find us enjoying outdoor activities such as bike riding or going to a festival. If it is football season, it will be time to watch the games with my local Penn State Alumni Association. You may also find us spending time with extended family, celebrating a birthday, or holiday, or participating in a local event.
