The Harris County Disparity Study Fund is dedicated to assisting Community Colleges and Independent School Districts in cultivating inclusive procurement practices by facilitating the execution of a Disparity Study. This fund offers financial support to enable recipient institutions to engage a vendor for the comprehensive examination of the utilization of Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs). The condition for receiving financial assistance is the commitment of recipient institutions to create and adopt M/WBE programs aligned with national best practices, aimed at addressing any race and gender disparities identified through the disparity studies.
