Our OCD/BDD Service at South West London And St George's Mental Health NHS Trust is a nationally recognized multidisciplinary program dedicated to providing specialized treatment for individuals facing the most severe cases of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD). As a trustwide service covering the boroughs of Wandsworth, Merton, Richmond, Kingston, and Sutton, we offer comprehensive assessments and treatment options, collaborating closely with other teams to ensure holistic care.

Our services extend beyond conventional outpatient treatment, featuring intensive home-based therapy and community-focused approaches. We understand the complexity of these disorders and work diligently to tailor our interventions to the unique needs of each individual. As a tertiary service, we also provide valuable advice and consultation to primary and secondary care services, as well as the voluntary sector dedicated to OCD and BDD.

Referrals for complex assessment and treatment are welcome from healthcare workers in both Primary and Secondary Care. To ensure a thorough evaluation, referrals should include a concise description of the patient's current problems, relevant history, and the current care plan and risk assessment. In cases where significant risk is identified, details of the patient's care co-ordinator and their continued involvement should be provided.
