Baptism

Baptism is a significant experience that formalizes entrance into the Christian church, the community of faith. We believe that in baptism we claim our identity as Gods beloved child and celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit for it is the Spirit that gives faith, forgives sins, and grants new and eternal life. There is much to celebrate! In baptism, we are then called to join Gods mission in the world through proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ in word and deed.

We often baptize infants and young children, because we believe baptism is a gift that you do nothing to deserve and, therefore, there is no need to wait to receive it. However, baptism is always open to all ages including older children, teens, and adults who havent yet been baptized. All are welcome!
