Community Service Projects
Each class year, our Leadership Spokane Flagship Program is divided into 5, or more, teams and asked to select and complete a community service projects. Projects are chosen from applications submitted, from nonprofits, during the summer months. Through the session year, each team documents their progress and presents a presentation at the last class in June. The presentations are judged from a rubric provided to the teams at the beginning of the session year. Thanks to the generosity of the Avista Foundation, the winning team/presentation receives a $1,500 grant for their nonprofit organization.
For examples of past projects, check out the links on our website. We're proud of the great things our leaders are doing in our community.
