Respirator Fit Test

In order to do a Fit Test you need to be medically evaluated you do that in house where you fill out a questionnaire and our health care professional clears you to take your Fit Test.

This test uses negative air pressure to check the seal and fit of the mask on your face. There are 5 different tests that consist of holding still and holding your breath with your mouth closed for 8 seconds. The technician presses the trigger and the machine pulls air through the mask to see if there are any leaks. This requires the participant to be clean-shaven. We have a variety of masks in house to use to be tested, but the participant can also bring their own.
