The Brief – Social Media Strategy & Input

Jemima Lovatt from Thrive approached us for support from a Skilled Volunteer who could help elevate their social media activities. She was specifically looking for guidance on how to best grow their following with more strategic content and timing, including reviewing social posts and advising on design and messaging.

The Solution – Skilled Volunteer and Social Media Trainer Claire

With over 10 years digital experience including managing an agency in Hong Kong before setting up her own business ‘Digital With Claire’ 6 years ago, Skilled Volunteer Claire had extensive knowledge to apply to this Project.

Claire was connected with Ruby who oversees Thrive’s social media. She began by implementing a social media audit which identified areas of improvement before going on to create a strategy to increase engagement. Jemima commented “Claire gave us some fantastic insights into our social media and really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great understanding on our current metrics and how we could grow these.”

The Result

Before speaking with Claire, Thrive Future had reached a point where growth across our social media channels had really slowed. But since applying the recommended changes, the results have been remarkable. “In the few months since working with Claire, our Instagram insights revealed that the number of accounts we’ve reached has grown by 960%, number of accounts engaged by 109%, and our total followers have increased by 39.8%! On LinkedIn, we’ve had a 357.4% increase in new followers which is fantastic.” Ruby shares with us.

Through Claire’s support and expertise Thrive Future have been given the tools, understanding and ideas to move forward with their social media to promote the Thrive brand, ethos and their digital education platform. “Link UP London connected us with a brilliant skilled volunteer who went above and beyond to measure our current approach to social media, identify ways to improve it and help us to implement those changes. We now have a clear strategy moving forward with manageable steps to implement. Thank you” Jemima said.
