Self-Confidence

Self-confidence is the belief in oneself and one's abilities. It is the assurance that you can handle any situation, take on any challenge, and achieve any goal. Self-confidence is built from successes and failures, from learning how to cope with disappointment and adversity. It requires self-awareness, a positive attitude, and a willingness to take risks. When you have self-confidence, you trust yourself to make good decisions and take action when needed. You know your strengths and weaknesses but focus on the former rather than the latter. You are confident in your ability to overcome obstacles and reach success. With self-confidence comes resilience; no matter what life throws at you, you have faith that things will work out in the end.
