Working with children as subjects presents unique challenges for an artist. It can be difficult for them to sit still and hold a pose for extended periods of time. To overcome this, I often rely on reference photographs and strive to make our sessions enjoyable while still capturing the distinctive qualities that make for a perfect child portrait.
