Located near Corvallis, Oregon, this innovative project harnesses landfill gas, a natural by-product of organic matter, to generate clean, renewable power. Recognized by the EPA as one of the nation's most efficient landfill methane programs, Coffin Butte produces enough electricity annually to power approximately 2,000 households. By participating in our Green Power Program, customers can purchase 100 kilowatt-hour blocks of renewable energy, supporting sustainable initiatives and reducing their carbon footprint.
