Welcome to Auction 101. Here are a few easy steps to help you look and act like a professional auction attendee.

Youve found that item you must have on our online catalog or live at our auction house and are ready to bid. Making a purchase is simple. To bid online follow the simple instructions on the current auction site. To bid in person you will need to register prior to or during the auction.

Deposit

Please note, for in-house/live auctions there is a $100.00 deposit required to bid. This is fully refundable in the event you are not a successful bidder. We can also take a major credit card for a deposit.

Bidding in Person:

After registering you will receive a bidders card, which will be used to place your bids. Simply raise your bidder card until the auctioneer acknowledges you. You will know when your bid has been acknowledged; the auctioneer will not mistake a random gesture for a bid. The bidding increments are decided by the auctioneer, and will usually not exceed ten percent of the previous bid. The auctioneer will take increasing bids on each lot until only one bidder remains. The final bidder purchases the lot.

Bidding Online:

If you have bid online but then are attending our auction please make certain that you are not bidding against your online bid. The online bids close at 5:00 PM on the day of the auction, those bids are combined with any absentee bids and a clerk on the auction floor represents the bids. The auctioneer does not know what the bids are and has no control over the results of the online/absentee bids.

Successful online and absentee bidders will be notified by an emailed invoice at the close of the auction, at this time the credit card on file will be used to complete the transaction. If items require shipping charges will be added to the invoice.

Firearms:

Firearms require a background check unless you have a concealed weapons permit for the state of Arizona or hold a Federal Firearms License which is on file with our office.
