Utah Food Bank provides free, monthly food assistance to home bound people with disabilities living in poverty who are over the age of 18, delivered right to the client’s home. The primary goal of this program is to provide emergency food assistance for individuals who cannot access the emergency food network and are not participating in the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP).

Each food box contains approximately one week’s worth of nonperishable food, plus as much fresh food as available. The boxes have a combination of canned, boxed, and dehydrated foods, including meats, fruits, vegetables, pasta, plant-based proteins, and occasionally juice, nuts, and/or oil. Utah Food Bank is often the recipient of “luxury” items such as fresh flowers and even pet food that are included when we have them.
