Rx HealthCare Services offers home behavioral health for patients who are homebound and may be experiencing late life depression and similar conditions. Our specialized team work in close contact with patients and the patient’s physician to provide education, observe and report behaviors and crisis, and to intervene appropriately. Behavioral home health staff have a unique role in creating a milieu which will provide for the comfort, care, and growth of the patient. Home behavioral health provides patients with a smooth transition from hospitalization through home health and back into the community. Most importantly, by allowing and encouraging the patient to gain independence as soon as possible, a patient can soon realize that his/her treatment is a temporary method for dealing with the illness and not a permanent condition.
