Mount Vernon On the MoVe

Launched in January 2022, On the MoVe is a news site dedicated to events and developments around the historic yet rapidly transforming Richmond Highway corridor in Southeast Fairfax County.

Besides having a hyperlocal focus on the corridor, On the MoVe features stories based on personal interviews and local event coverage.

The editor is a 20+-year resident of Mount Zephyr (South County), a longtime strategic communications professional, and a former contributor to "Covering the Corridor."
