Love 2 Dance Studio is a premier dance studio located in Chickasha, Oklahoma, where students learn to dance with their hearts. Owned and operated by the talented Ms. Emily Hector, Love 2 Dance Studio aims to help students build skills, confidence, grace, and a deep love for the arts.
Ms. Emily Hector Godwin brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the studio. She holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts from Oklahoma City University and a Master of Dance Education from UNCG. Additionally, she is a certified teacher by the State of Oklahoma in dance and movement. With her extensive background in dance education, Emily is currently serving as the coach of the Drover Dancers and as a special adjunct instructor at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.
Emily's passion for dance extends beyond teaching; she has also made her mark as a choreographer in various professional settings. Her choreography can be seen in music videos and even in the movie "A Cowgirl Song." In addition to her film work, Emily has lent her talents to choreographing and coaching for esteemed groups such as Southwestern Oklahoma State University Pom, Chickasha High School Pom, and Elgin High School Pom.
Not only does Emily bring an impressive teaching and choreographing background to Love 2 Dance Studio, but she also boasts professional performance credits including appearances with Celebrity Cruises, Shoji Tabuchi, the Magic of Rob Lake, and shows in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, among others.
At Love 2 Dance Studio, students are not only taught how to master technical skills but are also encouraged to express themselves through movement while developing a deep appreciation for the art form. With Ms. Emily Hector at the helm, Love 2 Dance Studio provides an enriching environment where students can truly flourish as dancers while learning valuable life skills that extend far beyond the studio walls.
