Angola Performing Arts Academy (APAA)
Angola Performing Arts Academy (APAA) is dedicated to nurturing the creative talents of youth in Angola, Indiana through a dynamic and engaging performing arts program. Our mission is to provide young individuals with the opportunity to develop their artistic skills and express themselves through various forms of performing arts.
At APAA, we believe in the power of hands-on learning and creative expression. Through our fun and interactive approach, we aim to help children expand their minds and cultivate a love for the arts. Our theater arts camp, designed for children aged 10-15, offers a two-week immersive experience on the Trine University Campus. Participants have the chance to explore acting, singing, dancing, and stage production under the guidance of experienced instructors. The camp culminates in live performances at the T. Furth Center, where students can showcase their newfound talents to family and friends.
In addition to our theater arts camp, APAA also provides private lessons in guitar, ukulele, bass, and piano at our main office located at 45 S. Public Square. These one-on-one sessions offer personalized instruction tailored to each student's unique learning style and goals.
As a non-profit organization committed to enriching the lives of young people in Angola and surrounding communities through the arts, we rely on the support of volunteers and donors. We invite you to join us in our efforts to create more opportunities for children to discover their potential and shine bright on stage. Whether you choose to contribute your time as a volunteer or make a donation towards our programs, your involvement will make a meaningful difference in empowering young performers.
Together, let's inspire creativity, foster talent, and celebrate the achievements of aspiring artists at Angola Performing Arts Academy. Thank you for considering how you can be part of this transformative journey with us.
