Paris Junior College
Paris Junior College, located in Paris, Texas, approximately 100 miles northeast of Dallas, has been an integral part of the Lamar County community since its founding in 1924.
The college offers a variety of academic paths, including Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Associate of Arts in Teaching, and Associate in Applied Science degrees, as well as Certificates of Proficiency in technical and workforce fields. Over the years, Paris Junior College has expanded its academic offerings to support both associate degree students and those pursuing university transfers. Since launching its first vocational program—jewelry and watchmaking—in 1942, the college has actively developed technical and workforce programs to better prepare students for careers.
Situated on a picturesque 54-acre campus with 20 major buildings and residence halls, Paris Junior College provides a peaceful and conducive learning environment. The college also extends its reach with additional centers in Sulphur Springs and Greenville, Texas.
