Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and work with both low and high voltage systems. This role requires a hands-on approach to building, renovating, and maintaining electrical installations in various settings. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for ensuring all electrical work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical installations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools.
• Renovate existing electrical systems to improve functionality or comply with updated codes.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople as needed to complete projects efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and best practices in electrical work.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of low voltage systems as well as high voltage applications.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to challenges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Valid Journeyperson Electrician's license or certification is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Pay: $37.00-$48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
