Welcome To

Portland Community Fund

The Portland Community Fund Association continues to be a positive link in assisting with the needs of the Portland community. The due diligence from this board is widely noticed. The proof of our earnest efforts is reflected by extra help offered by volunteer groups within other organizations, additional businesses requesting to be a collection site, record-breaking winter wear donations, the abundance of monetary donations, and support from individuals after a disaster fundraising year! This year our volunteering contribution to the mission of Portland Community Fund allowed us to:

Collect and gave away 266 winter coats (a new record), boots, mittens, and clothes Compiled and gave away Christmas meals and amazing gifts to 141 families/over 230 children Raised $31,000 from local businesses, organizations, and individuals Awarded grants totaling over $15,000 to 12 local organizations serving local residents Granted assistance to local people who experienced tragic fires at their home State of Michigan approval finalizing our merger with Portland Backpacks for Bellies PBB provided over 4,000-weekend meal bags to food-insecure children of Portland in our 1st year (1,000 during COVID) This concludes our 45th year established as Portland Community Fund Association ~ neighbors helping neighbors.Sincerely,Evelyn Walkington-Jensen, PresidentPortland Community Fund Association
